Rusnak Maserati of Pasadena hosted a seminar and VIP dinner for the Ferrari Club Association Members and VIP guests (FCA) on Thursday, June 19, 2014 . The state of the art Maserati Showroom is located at 297 West Colorado Boulevard, Pasadena, California.
The evening started with a champagne reception by POPS Champagne and Dessert Bar in Pasadena. A wine bar was set up for the fine wine enthusiasts. Andrew Arizmendi, General Manager Rusnak Maserati, welcomed over 100 guests to the showroom and introduced Jim Bindman, Director of FCA.
Guest speaker, Adam Martin, Vice President The Hagerty Institute, discussed the Hagerty Valuation Tool which provided car enthusiasts vital details on a vehicle’s value and how the information can be displayed. Martin stated, “It is important to track a car’s present value, past performance and where it may be headed in the future”. Martin compared collector car portfolios with other financial benchmarks.
David Lee, Chairman and CEO of Hing Wa Lee Group, which consists of Hing Wa Lee Jewelers, introduced guest speaker, Errol Phippen of Audemars Piguet. Phippen spoke of Audemars Piguet -a manufacturer of Swiss watches founded in 1875 by watch makers Jules Louis Audemars and Edward Auguste Piguet. He also displayed the craftsman’s watches for all to view.
An elegant dinner was hosted by Rusnak Maserati Pasadena. Chef Tanya Jackson, from The Rustic Gourmet, served baby mixed organic salad with Persian cucumbers, blistered cherry tomatoes and mozzarella in a red wine vinaigrette with seasonal grilled veggies with Italian capers. The main entree of grilled jumbo shrimp in a light spiced cream sauce and asparagus tips and sundried tomatoes was served. Desserts of custard cups and fresh berries entertained the palette as DJ Herick amused everyone’s ears.
