On Saturday, June 22nd, Rosemary Children’s Services hosted its 50th Annual “An Evening with Star Chefs” event in front of the historic Pasadena City Hall and honored Christine Devine, Golden Star Award, and Chef Claud Beltran, Community Star Chef. This year’s event, chaired by Autumn Way, Wells Fargo and Honorary Chair, Liz Rusnak, Vice President of Public Relations, RUSNAK Auto Group, attracted over 500 guests and over 30 local restaurants.
Guests enjoyed exquisite cuisine, wine, beers, a live auction, and silent auction. Founded by Julia Child in 1963, “An Evening with Star Chefs” is Pasadena’s oldest, largest, and most prestigious culinary benefit. Guests in attendance included Councilmember Gene Masuda, Council Member John Kennedy, Pasadena Chief of Police Phillip Sanchez, Former Assemblymember, Anthony Portantino, Field Representative for Senator Carol Liu, Adam Carter, and Field Representative for Assemblymember Chris Holden.
The 50th Star Chefs event highlighted, Rosemary’s past and their foster youth’s future. “As Chair of this event, I was delighted to bring Wells Fargo’s support with me. I am truly grateful that so many community members came out to support our organization”, says Autumn Way of Wells Fargo.
